Yes, only the first ending is effected by your bond level. There's a capture/wiki site, but it's only in Japanese https://rrpg.jp/capture/gensou_chronicle/

Did you get the true ending, or the true true ending? Also, for those who don't own either of the sony handhelds, emulation should be fine even on low end systems.

despite the fact you view the credits page 3 different times I don't think they actually show you the name of the game's artist and I can tell for certain this is the same guy who did chronus arc, crystareino (excluding the 3ds version) and alot of other hitpoint developed games.
