Yeah I tried that but it said the next two were optional after getting the ship and I'm not sure where to go? The map keeps saying that first castle (red flashing dot) but thats it...

So I just got the ship from the king but now I have no idea where or what I'm supposed to do? I've been all over the place to both kingdoms, small villages, I cannot access the mysterious forest, or the castle at Port village, as its protected or something? Idk what to do?
