...because I don't own a smartphone. I grew up in the pre-smartphone era, and my job doesn't require one.

The world changed while I wasn't looking. One day, I saw a person declare, "A smartphone is a necessity." They were correct; a smartphone is now a necessity for most people, engaged in most careers, who need it for networking, communication, and quick reference, as well as socialization with friends.

I don't know when exactly this happened. It's just the world we live in now. Perhaps it happened shortly before Kemco first started making mobile RPGs? I wonder.

I've been buying Kemco RPGs on the 3DS whenever they went on sale, and playing them at the average rate of one a year for some time now. Lately I've been inspired to focus on my 3DS Kemco backlog, because my other backlog RPGs seemed a little too slow-paced or overly complicated.

I recently purchased Revenant Saga on the PS4 when it was on sale. It might have been the best $6 I ever spent on a video game. Now I'm looking into acquiring more PS4 ports of Kemco RPGs.

The beauty of Kemco RPGs is that they get the player into the action fairly quickly, and don't require a masters in RPGology to pick up and play. Best of all, the player can save the game pretty much anywhere, anytime. This is a blessing on days when I could be called away to do stuff at any minute, and can't necessarily set aside a 2-hour+ block of time for gaming.
