Welcome RedReform, I think you'll find that the majority of Kemco games will satisfy the jrpg itch. If you have any questions about the games do ask, we'll be more than happy to offer recommendations or advice. (Though most of the games aren't really hard, but getting 100% completion is sometimes challenging)
Anyway welcome to the site.
Thanks MSG Commander I really just don't know which game to start with. Recommendations would be much appreciated.
Well, the first one I played is Symphony of the Origin, it's short and not too complicated but loads of fun. It's on Google play, iTunes and Amazon Underground so you've got some options there.
Machine Knight is free and fun, but long and a bit complicated.
You can also try any of the recent games that all have free versions (well except Elio, it's quite different from their standard rpgs) Asdivine Dios, Asdivine Menace, Revenant Dogma, Glorious Saviour and Asdivine Cross have all been well received.
You can also ask for opinions on specific games in that game's category, and most likely someone will have played the game.
I love KEMCO games. I am currently playing Asdivine Cross and have played Asdivine Hearts, Dios and Menace. Also played Legna Tactica. Can anyone recommend KEMCO games similar to the Asdivine series?
Edit: I am played on an Android and use Google play. Thanks

Hi CoarseDragon, welcome to the forum!
Graphics/gameplay wise, similar games would probably be the Alphadia Genesis games, Illusion of L'Phalcia, maybe a few others. (Hopefully someone else can chime in on this one...)
The other ones you should definitely check out are Revenant Dogma and Glorious Savior (both of these games are basically identical in game play, but they have really good stories - and they both have a free version.) Machine Knight and Band of Monsters are older games, but are both free on Google Play and both have really good stories and dialogue.
Beyond that, most Kemco games are worth playing at least once, but my personal favorite (at the moment) are Symphony of the Origin, Symphony of Eternity, Chrome Wolf, Justice Chronicles and Crystareino.
But if you're ever unsure about a specific game, feel free to ask for people's opinion.

Hi everyone, Islandi here
My username and avatar is female but I'm actually a guy lol.
I came across this forum when I was searching for info on Asdivine Cross on Google search. I used to search for game info on gamefaq.com but recently I found that site lacking.
I grew up on retro and console games all the way back to Sega Genesis, SNES and PlayStation. I love to play JRPGs and SRPGs.
I love and played titles such as:
Sega Genesis - Shining Force (dungeon crawler RPG), Shining in the Darkness (SRPG), War Song or Langrisser (SRPG)
SNES - Final Fantasy IV, Langrisser II
Play Station - Langrisser IV & V, Final Fantasy Tactics, Breath of Fire, Vandal Hearts
As the years go by and games evolve, I found that I don't like the game mechanics in Final Fantasy 7 and many Action RPGs. I still prefer old school and much more tactical/strategic game mechanics, good stories & character development and music. In fact, Final Fantasy IV is still my favourite title for RPG genre (from way back I played on SNES) because it fulfilled all those criterias very highy, especially the story, music and characters' designs. War Song or Langrisser I & II are my favourite for Tactical/Strategy RPG.

Actually, that very fact was one of the things that inspired me to start this site - none of the well known game sites had any real info on any Kemco games! :woohoo:
Now since then, I have found SOME information on other forums, but honestly not much.
Anyway, welcome to the site.
