I like the 3DS versions of Kemco RPGs because they're cheaper than other console versions ($10 or less base price; console versions tend to be $13-$15 base price).
Also, the 3DS versions have NO microtransactions. The cash shop is either disabled, or in some cases there's an in-game means to acquire points to purchase cash shop items.
3DS versions have NO paid DLC. Some of the more recent Kemco RPGs on the Switch, PS4, etc. have been going down that road, offering experience boosts or other conveniences as DLC for an extra $1 to $3 each on top of the game's purchase price.
Another thing to note is that some older Kemco RPGs were ported from mobile to the 3DS only, and not to any other console or handheld. Not even to the PC.
Sadly, Kemco appears to be completely done with porting RPGs to the 3DS. At least they appear to be porting most of their newer games to the PS4, Switch, and PC. I'm not sure how much of their catalog gets ported to the Xbox.

I did play the original Alphadia on my 2DS XL all the way back in 2018 the mini-map is such a great help because the dungeon layouts are so confusing plus it was nice to play on an actual handheld than, you know, my phone
