Switching Grimoas Glitch

I played Bonds of the Skies on the 3DS. I thought it was OK... not exceptional, not bad, just a fairly simple JRPG.

I didn't find much use for the in-game feature of switching around grimoas. The party was fine when they kept their default grimoas all the way through. Plain old party level (and also skill selection) seemed more important than anything else, and level grinding was always very quick and easy, up to a soft cap that's tied to the area where one is fighting enemies.
