In case you are wondering what to expect from the DFP shop additional dungeons and scenarios (who knows, maybe Destiny Fantasia shows up on Amazon Underground), here is what I found.
All the additional dungeons and scenarios have a crest crystal reward for defeating the boss. If you are already at a high level, you will find that the crest crystal is of no use.
There are two additional dungeons, neither of which I can recommend. Both end with bosses with around 200,00 HP that you fight the same way you fight The King of Emptiness. The treasures are not particularly useful. One of the dungeons is by far the worst excuse for a dungeon that I can remember. You take looong rides, without interruption for saves or item use, while you serve as target practice for powerful monsters. You repeat these excursions a few times until you reach the final boss.
There are three additional individual scenarios: Fruitie, Crag, and Spirit. These all present challenging boss battles, one of which (Crag) is reasonable, while the other two are a bit sleazy. What do I mean? The Crag battle is tough, but there are tricks you can discover to win the battle. A little experimentation (and defeats) should lead you to a winning tactic. The other two (Fruitie and Spirit) have a winning tactic in common, but it requires several (6 in each) Elixirs. Elixirs are quite rare in the game, so that is why I call these two scenarios "sleazy."
