The best place (and the only place outside of one time only boss drops) to find item drops of the "secret medicine" (for defense, knowledge, and speed) is in the Ruin of Frozen Time. There are 3 frequent monsters (Kraken, La Zatlier, Zigzear) that drop these. However, the drop is rare, no more than 5%, and probably less.
