End of Support on Android?

Noticed on the Google Play store that both Journey to Kreisia and Fanatic Earth are not compatible with Android 10, and no further compatibility updates are planned. Additionally, I noticed on the main Kemco website that certain games will no longer be supported on iOS either. It's a real shame, because I love these games and I want to continue playing them on my phone indefinitely, but all good things must come to an end.

Journey to Kriesia is one of my favorites. I can't believe they're not going to support Android 10. Sadly, I can confirm it doesn't work on 10...won't even load.
I'm not sure an APK would make any difference. If the game isn't made for Android 10, it won't work regardless of where you get it, right?
Another option is the Kindle Fire. I recently traded in my old Fire 8.9 (which I never used, couldn't root, or add Google Play to), and got the new 9th generation Kindle Fire 7. It runs a version of Android 7.1 (Nougat). Adding the Google Play store was as simple as downloading a few files. So far, Journey to Kreisia is working well, as is Asdivine Hearts, and Legend of the Tetrarchs. Ambition Record crashes, but I don't care. I suspect most of the older games will work...at least I hope so!
If you live in an area where you can get a Kindle Fire, I recommend watching Amazon for deals. I got $30 plus 25% off a new kindle with my trade in. At the time, the Fire 7 was only $30. So my only expense was a couple of $ for a case. The Fire isn't the zippiest of devices, but if I can keep playing my fav Kemco games, I think it is totally worth it.

I'll probably continue to play in an emulator. I'm debating posting on their Facebook or writing support about it, partially because I'm hoping if enough people ask they'll have a change of heart. They actually updated Covenant of Solitude when I asked about it so I'm surprised that they no longer are maintaining other games. I know Kreisia is also on the 3DS but Fanatic Earth isn't and I actually like that one a lot. I know they have a lot of games to support but the older ones are the best. I've been playing their games since Symphony of Eternity first came out and it's only now that they're stopping support for older titles. Such a shame.

I'm genuinely enjoying Journey to Kresia on the 3DS, and find this information quite sad.
The 3DS has basically reached the twilight of its lifespan. After the disastrously low sales of the "Bowser's Inside Story" remake and the closure of AlphaDream, Nintendo has axed any plans to make more 3DS games.
While I expect Nintendo will keep the 3DS eshop going for several years along with the Wii U eshop, I think that in 10-15 years or less, the 3DS eshop will shut down permanently, just like the Wii eshop has.
When that happens, over a dozen 3DS Kemco RPG ports (that don't have in-game transactions!) will be effectively gone forever.

It's still working on my Vivo Android 11 phone.
You can try VMOS if it's still not working on your phone.

My journey to end the darkness ends up losing someone I loved. Now I realized that there's no victorious in either sides. It's all about the casualties it caused...
