Become the Savior from the outer realm and bring everlasting peace to Kreisia in an epic fantasy RPG!
While attempting to skip out on a homework assignment and meet up with his friends at the arcade, a teenager by the name of Yusis is suddenly enveloped in a blinding light and transported to Kreisia— a world where fantasy meets reality. Soon after, he learns he has been summoned as a Savior to deliver Kreisia's people from the threat of the Overlord. Thinking everything happening around him is simply a dream, Yusis readily agrees to the task of saving the world and begins preparing for what is inevitably to be far more than he ever bargained for!
(Note from OP: 7 DLC including a 'No Encounter' might be a PR disaster for them. Why they're doing it...)

Thank you for the heads up! I've been playing Isekai Rondo off and on; I'll try to finish it before the Journey to Kreisia port comes out.
This time, I intend to trying playing Journey to Kreisia on a difficulty higher than Normal, level up past 99, and clear the Arena.

Thanks for sharing this great news that hasn't even been published yet on Kemco Global's website at this moment (but the game's Steam page is already up, so the news seems to be true). Among the older Exe Create games that aren't available yet on Steam, this is the game that I've been looking forward to playing the most, even though I'm not a fan of a required second playthrough to see all endings (similar to "Asdivine Cross").

I just purchased the Journey to Kreisia port on Steam. Sadly, the Steam version does not appear to have any Steam Trading Cards, although it does have Achievements. The Steam version appears to be a port of the 3DS version.
According to the Help menu, the Shop is an in-game "Shady Merchant" rather than a menu option. The Shady Merchant sells powerful items for Kreisia Points, which aren't purchased with cash in this version. Instead, Kreisia Points can be earned in-game from random encounters, or dug up as buried treasure.
I'm not buying any paid DLC to power up the party or control the encounter rate. As much as I love Journey to Kreisia, that's a line I won't cross. I'll see how a playthrough on the highest difficulty of Hard goes with what the base game has to offer.
This will be the first time I try playing a Kemco RPG on PC. Journey to Kreisia doesn't support a mouse, but it can be played with only a keyboard. The game recommended using a controller when I booted it up, so I could try to figure out how to hook one up to my PC... but if I find keyboard controls convenient enough then I may not bother.

You already played through the mobile version of the game, right? Then you'll probably be fine. I bought most of the pay-to-shortcut DLCs, so when I'll play the game soon on the hardest difficulty setting, I can tell myself how "tough" I am, while still having a relaxed playthrough. "Damage x 2" and "no skill costs" for the win.

I played the 3DS version, not the mobile version. I almost never play games on my smartphone because I hate touchscreen controls.
My original playthrough was on Normal, and I had a tough time because Journey to Kreisia is one of Exe-Create's older RPGs and fairly challenging. This time I know a bit more about how Exe-Create games work and I'm prepared to grind if needed.
The one thing I don't plan to do is get all the achievements, because some of the achievements are for earning various different endings. I usually prefer to get only the endings I want.
Unless something in the game has changed, one of the endings and therefore one of the achievements/trophies is missable. I'm using a spoiler bar just in case, although the only thing I'm spoiling is how to get the missable ending, not what's in it or any other details.
If I play through the game and find that any of this is changed from the 3DS version, I'll come back to this post and edit it with a correction.
The missable ending and its Trophy/Achievement is the Bad End. Lose to the second form of Overlord, Orzand to get it. I believe that if you lose to the first form of Overlord, Orzand, then you just get a Game Over.
You can fight Overlord, Orzand on any playthrough, but on the second and further playthroughs there is a point very late in the story where you can't fight Overlord, Orzand anymore (unless you start yet another playthrough).

Playing the PS5 port of Kreisia is far less of a chore than my previous playthrough of the 3DS version of the game the 3DS version just stuttered terribly and felt sluggish to play in general
I couldn't bear to do an entire 2nd playthrough of Kreisia on 3DS (which is required to achieve the True Ending routes) because that port was just horribly unoptimized performance wise
Asdivine Cross on 3DS I actually did bother to do the 2nd playthrough for the True Endings (that port was actually smooth unlike Kreisia on 3DS lol)
