Get a Ship in the Post-Game

Talk to a man on the Pier outside Rimiein Town and give him a zeradonal ore, he gives you a ship. Remember, you can pile up zeradonal ore by stealing from the dragon Botis (just let him defeat you after you steal so you can repeat the process until you are ready to defeat him).

I still don't understand, if zeradonal ore needed for a ship while the only way to get it is on Botis dungeon... and to get that dungeon you need a ship?

In the post game there is a new dungeon with a chest containing zeradonal ore.  Get that ore, and then you can get the ship and progress through the game.
