Are there no side quests in this game?

I've played up to the point of getting the airship, and I've spoken to every NPC in every location. Not a single side quest (yet.)

If there are in fact no side quests, that would be good information for "completists" to know in advance - it will save a lot of time if you don't have to talk to every NPC (though I talk to them all anyway...)

Well, in my review I state I couldn't find any subquests, and that interactions with NPCs don't yield anything. Of course I might have missed something.... :unsure:

I don't believe so. It's been a while since I finished this game and all it had to it was the IAP towns and the post-game. I will say one thing about the IAP towns/dungeons. They tend to glitch out weirdly. One such case was at the start before the 1st plot twist where I brought that town near the tower for the plot twist. I entered the town and.... Lets just say that I saw a disembodied voice as well as

when it was only Dachi and Lily. It was very weird and I abstained from purchasing the optional dungeons/towns.
