So, I'm playing along and just got to the Blaguza area (after Shrine of Execution, and second visit to Sunset Ruins).

I decided to go north to check out what looked like a castle on the World Map, but is actually the Ancient Ruined City. I don't remember the exact wording but when you enter the ruined city the game says something about "facing off" against some one. Well, I wandered around the perimeter of the city, looking for treasure, then made for the center where there's a moon-shaped tile on the ground.

Suddenly the game says "Congratulations, you've obliterated the strongest enemy in the game!"

Only... I never fought him. (No battle ever loaded.)

After that dialogue, I stepped on the moon tile and went underground and got some treasures. Then the game says "There's a moon shaped symbol. Maybe we should try stepping on it..." After I'd already taken it!?

Everything else about the game has been fine, but this was really, really odd.

Well, they put some "humor" in the game, as you will see when you visit Snow Village. You may recognize one of the names you come across there (and if you don't, you probably never watch the credit crawls at the end of games) :)

Yeah I just left Snow Village. I was like, "Wait what did that person say?"

But in the ruined city it 'seemed' like there was supposed to be something... Maybe it was just me.

Yep, seems odd to me too. But I also recall, I think, some cave at teh start of the game in the lower right, that you step in, and it says something about you won 3 medals, now go claim your prize or such and kicks you out. I think this stuff isn't there on purpose and is part of either an in-app dungeon, or some weird post-game that I didn't see.

Yeah there's a number of places like that; two lines of dialogue and out you go. I think they're all IAP locations. But in other games, it at least tells you that you can 'purchase' the dungeon, not in this one though.

So, some twisted translator was clearly having fun. :woohoo:
