I am now on mission 19 of this game, I think it is the last boss (the one in (Van Der Waals) that stays still). The stationary thing with two floaty things that go around. I can not damage it, just 10 per hit. What monster would you recommend I get/evolve to beat it? I do have a healing beast too, but just need one good beast to kill the last boss - any advice on a powerful beast to use?
And where is a good place to get a lot of black, brown and white gems quickly with relative ease?
I have Cold Betarr, Unies, Asura, Berze, Griade, Fello, Big eye at level 30. But they are useless against the final boss.
What was your strategy for the final boss if you beat this game?
Tips on the last boss?

Alright! I finally beat it!
This is not a very good game IMO. I feel like I can safely say that having beaten it.
But I will post this in the hopes that it might help someone else....and save them some time.
There are 22 missions. For some dumb reason the finals are the "bonus" material, what you get after the first ending. You would think the finals would be part of the main game, no?
Here are my stats that I used to beat the last guy if anyone else wants to go through the trouble of beating this rather than do the smarter thing and give up (haha)...So the stats I list, I think, are ones to at least aim for and if you reach them, the game will not be too hard by the last boss. I wish I had known this sooner to save myself hours of struggle, ha.
Mattie = Level 75, 1300 HP, 450 MP, 348 stamina, 293 magic, 206 summon (really, it does not need to be higher than that, focus on stamina and magic). He had Witch's earrings on (a MUST, adding 100 MP and MP = ability to summon more). Witch's earrings, I think I got in Nulo Cavern 3.
At the end of the game I had one monster and only one: Dark Unies. Grind to get its level up. At the end, in the final battle, it was maxed at level 50, 3500 HP (Max), 288 MP, 272 attack, 395 physical Defense, 531 magic attack, 391 magic defense. It had on brownard, blizzard, stopper and focused arrow, the last two of which I GUESS (?) helped? ha.
Before Dark Unies, I made use of Unies. Max it to level 30 ASAP and you can coast for a while. Before I got Unies I had been using Big eye for some time along with a healing dude.
So, if you decide to play this game, that is a solid path to take, aim for similar stats to finish the game!
So basically, the monsters I used were:
1. Pancho, the one you start with
2. Big eye with a healing guy as support.
3. Unies
4. Dark Unies
Maybe there is one I am missing one I used sparingly or barely, but that is how I evolved more or less.
