That is true. But I tend to be so starved for those classic looking 16 bit/snes and genesis style games that anything will tide me over. Kemco hits that niche well, ha. Discovering kemco rpgs about 1.5 years ago was especially timely as it seems to have coincided with a steep decline in snes fan translations in regards to dynamic designs and aeon genesis, to name a few.
Recently beaten since April 1: Sephirothic Stories (android, kemco), Soulblazer (snes, arpg), Seek hearts (android, kemco), Super Metroid (snes), Legend of Tetrarchs (android, kemco), Castlevania 4 (snes), Actraiser (snes), Demons Crest (snes, platformer), Holy Umbrella (snes, platformer), Arcana (snes rpg)

Kemco games I still need to beat: (2) Dragon Lapis, Dimension Cross

Best old school Kemco game has to be Eve of the Genesis. I paid full price $8, and loved it.

I liked eve of genesis but it felt short. I thought Chrome wolf was pretty interesting, from a setting perspective and wow, the story takes quite a turn! Fanatic earth had a lot of lost potential.

Symphony of eternity/knights of earthends, I loved the set up of those games. I like how the map shows the entire screen and in the first, you can see the enemies on the screen.

The other one I loved for being so unique was Darkgate and cross hearts to a lesser extent.
