I'm totally blind and can't find...

On ps5 in the menu i just can't find where to set the guardian beasts to pursuit or not...

Also i can't equip them??

AAaaaaand i found it. When on a character's status, press triangle to switch between that character and it's guardian.

You can also equip Guardians with various items, and power up their statistics. The game's tutorials and help menus are very bad at explaining this.
