It took me a little while to understand how the battle system works in this game, so hopefully this will be helpful.

When you enter the battle, the first screen looks like this:

On the left side, you have the Retreat button, and the "Tactics" button. The Tactics button takes you to the second screen, where you can choose everyone's tactics for the next turn.

On the right side, the first button changes the battle speed. The middle button will let you change party members (I'm assuming you need to have more than three members in order to use this function). The "Auto" button turns on Auto battle.

Second Screen - "Action Selection":

On this screen, the button on the left takes you back to the first "battle" screen. Under each party member, there are four icons: Attack, Defend, Skills, and Items. Tap the icon for the action you want that member to perform. For example, if you tap the Skills icon, it will open a Skill menu and let you select the skill you want to use:

Now, when you're done selecting everyone's action, tap the button on the right side of the screen to start that turn.

All of your party members will take their turn (performing the action you've selected), and all the enemies will take their turn, and then it goes back to the "action selection" screen. Repeat this process until the battle is over (or if you want, you can tap the button all the way on the left, to go back to the first screen, and from there you can retreat or put the battle on auto).

I hope this helps, but if anyone's still confused about how this works let me know!Attachments:battle1.jpgbattle2.jpgbattle3.jpg
