I'm currently playing Fernz Gate. It has an OK story, and an extremely engrossing and rewarding battle system. It might be the best battle system of any Kemco RPG I've played so far.
Justice Chronicles/Mystic Chronicles had good battle systems too, but they're much, much grindier. Unlike those games, Fernz gate has difficulty selection options that can be changed at any time. I've been playing on Hard because Normal was a little too easy and I didn't want to bash my head against Very Hard.
I paid full price ($15) for Fernz Gate on the PS4 and it's completely worth it. (The high priced PS4 version does come with bonus content that's IAP on the mobile version).
Journey Kreisia is my favorite Kemco game, but that's more for its story than its battle system, although I enjoyed its battle system too.

Fernz Gate might indeed be the best pick if you enjoyed Asdivine series. Victar's advise is solid. Bonus lore points if you play Journey to Kreisia before, assuming it is compatible with your device, and I particularly hate the gameplay for Kreisia.
After Fernz Gate, there's Wizards of Brandel (a bit meh, but overall decent), Seek Hearts, Miden Tower and Ruinverse on the Asdivine-like group.
We had a Kemco Family Tree which you might want to take a look as well.
If you feel like venturing with a different developer, there's Crystareino, Justice Chronicles and Legends of Tretarchs.
