Kemco almost always has at least a few console ports on sale. Different consoles usually have different titles on sale, the discounts typically range from 25% to 50% of a $15 base price (a few early Kemco Switch ports have a slightly lower base price, and console ports of Kemco's Rideon games tend to have a $20 base price). Older titles are more likely to get higher discounts.
Kemco's 2023 New Year's Sale on 3DS lasts until January 11, 2023. I'm giving it a special shout-out for several reasons:
The 3DS eshop is closing in March 2023, so this is very probably the last Kemco sale for these 3DS ports, and the window of opportunity to buy any Kemco 3DS ports is closing.
Except for Dragon Sinker, all 3DS titles on sale have no other console port as of this writing! Their only other versions are mobile versions.
There is no cash shop and no paid DLC for any of Kemco's 3DS ports! Some of them, like Journey to Kreisia, allow the player to farm an in-game currency to purchase items that are cash shop purchases on mobile
With the discount applied, these 3DS titles are all $5 or less in the US! That's very cheap for Kemco console ports; usually the best one can hope for is a $7.50 sale price on the Switch/PS4/PS5/Xbox
The Kemco 3DS titles on sale are
Journey to Kreisia (my favorite RPG)
Unlucky Mage (a.k.a. Unlucky Hero on mobile, Exe-Create)
Machine Knight (sci-fi elements, Hit Point)
Symphony of Eternity (sale price is only $4, World Wide Software)
Crystareino (choose male or female protagonist, Hit Point)
Dragon Sinker (this one has been ported to other consoles, Exe-Create)
Alphadia (copyright is 2007, so it's probably the first Alphadia, Exe-Create)
There are a couple Wii U Kemco RPGs on sale, but they're available on other consoles, and there's no advantage to playing them on Wii U other than their lower price.
Kemco 2023 New Year's Sale on the Nintendo 3DS
A follow-up note: since the 3DS and Wii U eshops are in the process of closing, the 3DS/Wii U eshop storefronts no longer process Nintendo gift cards or credit cards.
If you have a Switch account, you can merge it with your 3DS/Wii U account, and add funds to your Switch balance with a credit card. The balance should also appear on the 3DS/Wii U account, and you can and use the funds to purchase games directly from the 3DS/Wii U eshops.
If you don't have a Switch, it's still possible to buy 3DS/Wii U games. You can use a computer to go to Nintendo's website storefront at
https://www.nintendo.com/store/
make an account (or use your Switch account), and merge it with your 3DS/Wii U account. Here are Nintendo's official instructions for merging accounts:
https://en-americas-support.nintendo.co ... k-id-funds
Then, search for the game you want on Nintendo's website storefront, and select the game for purchase. You should get the option to pay for the game with a credit card (the options to pay with a Nintendo eshop card or PayPal may also be there, depending on your region).
When you buy the game on Nintendo's website storefront, the game will be added to your 3DS/Wii U account's digital library. You can then go to the game's listing on the 3DS/Wii U eshop and click "Redownload game" (even though you just bought the game, the button will say "Redownload").
