Hi guys,

I have beaten nearly every 2D Kemco rpg aside from Aeon Avenger and Elio (the second of which I am playing now). I like to take screen shots of the load screen (save files) after beating my games and a "keepsake" of sorts.

My idea, using these pics as easy access to my stats (pics are easily organized on my computer too), is to compile a list of end game stats to give other players an idea, sans any spoilers, of ballpark levels and stats that others can aim for by the end of the game to beat the game. Like, "this is the level I beat the game at". I tend to beat games at fairly low levels so it could be a positive for others too who do not want to do an "end game grind". Anyone else like this idea? Or maybe it is just me, a stat dork, who likes the idea, haha.

I like the idea of having end of game stats (I keep my own in Excel), but there are really two sets of stats (at least): end of normal game, and stats at time of beating the final boss. Usually there is a rather large gap between those (at least for me). At any rate, I know I would like to see, format doesn't matter, stats at least for normal end.

I think it sounds cool, actually. (Especially for those few games like Justice Chronicles, where you really do have to meet a minimum level before you can beat the bosses...)

It sounds like the kind of thing that could go well with 3beez' idea: https://rpginsanity.com/forum/kemco-cha ... ary-chart/

(Which I had actually forgotten about until just now, so thanks for inadvertently reminding me. )

I'm still not entirely sure what would be the best way to share all that info - whether it be in the forum, or in the walkthrough pages (like maybe the "landing" page for each game could have actual information on it, instead of a blank page: https://rpginsanity.com/alphadia-genesis - we could do an info page, like: https://rpginsanity.com/alphadia )

Note: For the Alphadia landing page I just made some stuff up real quick to give a visual representation. I'm not at ALL attached to the format, the layout, or the information on that page. I'm totally open to some group collaboration - and, if the vocal majority would rather see this information posted in the forum, I'm happy to go that route as well.

I'd like to see info like that published for each game - but ultimately it comes down to how many people are willing to do a write up like that for a game (or two; I would not put it all on ONE person to do ALL the games; I think they'd probably quit the site first :silly: )

I would prefer it as a topic rather than in a review. It is a bit specialized for a review, and might require explanatory details. I guess it could be in a clickable list (like the game list) if needed. That is, an all game 'topic' that has a link to each game....although I am quite happy with a topic within the forum for that game. That way the info doesn't have to be uniform (for example, some might be screen shots, some might be spreadsheets, etc).

Regardless of the format, I do think the information is quite helpful.

I really like not having the blank landing page. :)

Awesome! It seems like a pretty good idea than, the enthusiasm has me excited to give this a whirl.

I will start compiling the data in microsoft word, how does that sound?

Attached is an example of a made up game, to show how I will organize the data. Obviously in the place of "Game #1" the actual title will appear, for example Asdivine Dios or Darkgate, etc.

edit: This would be for the end of the normal game as I tend to not do post game bonus dungeons. So if anyone would like the word document sent, let me know, so it can be posted somewhere here.Attachments:example.png

3beez: Maybe we put basic information on landing pages, to give an idea what's in the game? I still want feedback from people though, 'cause I'm not sure that "I" know what info is really useful.

1oldtymer: Maybe the landing page could include a link to reviews for that game, and links to either 1.) the forum category, or 2.) specific topics like end game stats, grinding or farming strategies, or other relevant topics that don't make it into walkthrough pages? That way the page itself just gives a "snap shot" but it still points to more detailed information.

With something like that I'd feel better about having landing pages, even for games that we don't have walkthrough pages for. (Of course I would still need people to help create and maintain the landing pages)

I have some excel with some info. I would pick my Link of Hearts figures, because I have stats for both at end of normal game and at max level for bonus. How do I send that to you or ??

I think it looks good. Did you just take a screen capture?

It's the perfect size and in an easy to read format. 2 points!
