is it neccesary to play revenant saga before this?
I don't know yet. I'm probably more than halfway through this game, and I can say it is not a direct sequel, but I did just have a scene with Albert and Estelle (who I think are main characters in Saga but it's been a LONG time since I played it.)
I think it's sort of like Asdivine Hearts and Asdivine Dios - they're both in the same series, but two separate stories.
But if you haven't played Saga, you might want to anyway. Let's see what others have to say...

hey guys,
New poster here, big fans of classic RPG and Kemco works.
I just played this game a while ago, but kind of stuck at finding Feral King at Poncham Shrine mission. Should I do some other stuff before that? I might miss out on something before that, as I wasn't paying too much attention on the instruction given at Aural.
I already got into the underground area of Poncham Shrine and can't seem to find anything, would really appreciate if anyone could help out

Hey dewfunk,
If you're where I think you are, I had the same problem.
Basically, there are two entrances to Poncham Shrine - one that looks like a mountain, and one that looks more like an actual temple:

Only one of them actually leads to the Feral King. (I think it's the temple-looking one.)Attachments:mountain.pngtemple.png

Hi MSG Commander, thanks for the tip, yup I finally found it. It's actually the temple like building as the other one basically a dead end.
I didn't see the other entrance at first
Btw is there any walk through for the subquests? this game is quite difficult actually compared to other Kemco RPG I played, the dungeons are quite confusing as well.

I don't have anything for the subquests yet. Last month I wrote the location walkthrough for Asdivine Menace (and oversaw the other walkthrough pages) while I was on my first playthrough - and it made the game take forever! :woohoo:
So I decided I'd just play through Revenant Dogma, and then decide how much I need to write up after I beat it.
So... I can start adding sub quest info tomorrow or maybe later tonight (though I've been at the computer a lot today already, trying to figure out how to optimize the Facebook code for Like and Share buttons).
I also noticed the Difficulty is a lot harder than other games. In Asdivine games I played on Normal and had no problems. And in this one I played the last half of the game on Easy and still some of the Bosses were a pain. It's actually like that in some earlier games as well, like Journey to Kreisia. But yeah, most Kemco games are easy compared to this.
As for the dungeons, I highly recommend the Encounter Ring in the Online Shop (I think it costs 200 RDP?) You may be able to find one in the Ethereal Est dungeon - I don't know. But anyway any time I got lost in a dungeon (which happened a LOT actually), I just equipped the Encounter Ring and voila - no monsters. B)
Otherwise, you'll have to get a pen and paper and try your best at mapping it out as you go along (which I've done before, and it's not nearly as much as fun as it sounds!)

I've got a Sub Quest page started - but I actually haven't found all the Sub Quests myself yet, so if anyone finds one I'm missing, please post it!
