Encounter with each step?

Is there a ring or item that let's you have encounters with each step or at least ups the encounter rate?
grinding is so slow going without it...

Devil-Call ring. I believe it is obtained from a subquest.

It's from sub quest 19, which may be available as soon as you come back from the (past), but no sooner than that.

Personally I wouldn't even consider grinding until you have it.

(Up until the True End, real grinding isn't necessary, anyway. Just get one weapon with a high ATK and destroy everything.... meanwhile save the grinding for the Fairy Garden.)

I have sub quest 19 but I have no idea where to find the old guys house to get the book
