(related to multiple above: Mandarin Chinese was my first language, and if I’m looking from really far away (say, a billboard on the highway or something) I sometimes got Japanese and Chinese characters confused. (I mean, like a really really short phrase, from far away, so you actually have a reason to be confused.))
