HELP! story 3 the food thief in antiquia lost

For some reason in the tower, it isn't giving me any cutscenes! I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I already rescued the sheep and all, then went back to the tower, explored everything but it won't let me fall through the cracks in the floor or show me any cutscenes. I'm so confused. If anyone has any idea, please let me know why it's like this!!

When you talk about the sheep, do you mean the related side quest? Side quests are of no importance to progressing the main story. If you don't see any cutscenes in a dungeon, then that means you're there too early and you probably missed a story trigger. Please read carefully what the main quest says (or post it here if you're still confused). The quest journal normally makes it very clear to whom you need to talk, and even if not, you can still just talk to all NPCs in the nearest city in order to find the one who advances the main story. I would have checked the quest journal myself, but I don't have my save files anymore, unfortunately.

I think cainohpue is correct. I don't remember a sheep having anything to do with it. The quest guide for The Food Thief says you need to talk to the people in Peridot town to find out if Alma is really the thief. IIRC, once you have spoken to enough of the NPCs, you get a brief scene, and then you can progress to the tower.
