EXE Create should be implementing a system of New Game + whereas the enemies would be stronger depending on the level you beat the true end on.
Once you get the true end, you are given the option to start a new game + that starts the game over from the beginning but with stronger enemies and weapons and gear for people in the Lv: 100-200 area as well as gold and experience being scaled to your level. You get to keep your skills/magic too.
I feel this may help improve their replayability for games like that. A safeguard would be put in place in which players must have everyone at lv: 100+ and so on to progress to NG+. The player can choose to keep doing the same over and over up to NG+9 whereas it's for levels 900-999.
It's a showerthought really but this may potentially encurage more people to replay their games.
Idea for EXE Create to utilise their Lv. 999 cap.

Thanks, but no thanks.
Some enemies already, if they're in their Titan form, can be hard to beat even if we're at level of 999.
Personally I rather would want enemies with really huge Str/Int attributes, that even their normal attack can deal thousands of damage.ir HP shouldn't be much bigger than HP of the current Fairyland/Hell enemies, so we won't battle them endlessly.
On unrelated note, I would love to have a new type of monsters - golden monsters. These would always drop super rare drops upon dying...

To please everyone they could just make it an option at the end of the game. Turn it on and have scaling monsters with each playthough. Then people who don't want that aren't forced into it.
Another option is inspired by the Disgaea series. For those unfamiliar, in that game you can reincarnate your characters, dropping them back to level 1 but letting them keep a % of their former stats. In some games this and crazy equipment is the only way to overcome some of the post-game challenges since even at level 9999 (yes, 9999) you'll get creamed with just your base stats. You'd need a story reason to allow this and it'd be good if they did something unique with it so they're not outright ripping off Disagea.
Again another option, and the one I'd like to see, is to sell your levels for unique stuff. You drop back down however many levels and get stuff that's not even in the premium shop. This could be items and equips, things to make subsequent plays quicker, bonus cutscenes, art and music or even parts for building a base or something if the story involved that.
Asdivine Cross was the first time I ever saw them implement a system to discourage power leveling (Lucille) so I'd love to see them get more use out of how easy they make it. Heck, they make it so easy a friend of mine who played one of the Asdivine games powerleveled by accident!

That could be cool, especially if it was optional.
As a casual player, I think part of the charm of Kemco games (and especially Exe Create) is that they are so easy. If I feel like I want a challenge, I can always adjust the difficulty, but if I just want to get on with the story or I just want to beat the secret arena and don't care about strategy, then I go power level for 30 minutes and I'm done.
(Whereas with the console games I grew up on, 20+ years ago, it was given that the game would take 50-60 hours, and a good third of that time would be grinding... Then again, even back then I never did have good strategies. :silly: )
Still, the ideas of reincarnating or trading in levels sound pretty awesome, actually. B)

All your base are
The thing is that Kemco really needs to work on there NG+. It lacks almost in every way. The only reason I play the Hardest difficulty is because I am accustomed to it but enemies are damage sponges.
If they can implement something like Last Remnant ( Not all of it, if they do that then people will most likely never kemco again lol ). Reduce the scaling, remove the power leveling, make better AI ( and not bullet sponges, please for the love of God, Asdivine Cross is horrendous in this aspect ).

I don;t think that yet another difficulty setting would add anything to the game. Plus, the Hell difficulty actually is really hard when the party is in their normal levels (and not some cosmic ones). And when they're in their cosmic levels, I think that even an Insane difficulty at best would be considered a Normal difficulty.
The idea for the trading in levels is pretty nice. But only of that really would be required to finish the game. Because this probably would backfire. Players could spend hundreds of their levels to become stronger, and then within a couple of minutes get back that lost levels, and trade in them again. Perpetuum mobile, except that within a couple of hours they would become uber beasts.
I think the best way would be smply do not set a max level. Allow characters to reach even a lvl 99999999. I remember how hard was gaining a new level in Journey to Kreisia and there we had several ways to multiple the XP received. Even if the max level won't be limited, some players will just stop at a certain time.

I'm more of a casual gamer; so I really like the power leveling. I can grind for a little while then relax and enjoy the other aspects of the game. Honestly, the battles can be a nuisance unless the drops are good!
So, I hope that Kemco never gets rid of it. Maybe their games need two modes: Casual (Easy, Normal, enemy levels are static) and Elite (Hard, Hell, enemy levels scale to player levels.) EDIT: I think this was what Dragnfly said! So, ditto what he said.
Oh, and I do like the idea of resurrection or trading in levels. Uber beast is good (love that term, Nemo!) OP is the only skill I have.
