I've played Asdivine Dios followed by Asdivine Menace, and what I loved most about them was the humor and the story. Looking for help on next like-minded games to play.
Off the top of my head I would recommend Glorious Saviour, Revenant Saga and Revenant Dogma. They're all Exe Create (same developer as Asdivine games), and they may not have the exact same style of humor or game mechanics but they're all entertaining.
And I think they all have a free version (well I'm not sure about Saga, but the other two are both free and premium.)
