I'm a new user on this forum, so I assume this oughtta be the right spot to ask this.

I've already played Asdivine Dios and Menace, and I've been wanting to know if there's other RPGs with similar graphics (I've played As divine Hearts too, but well...I played it after playing Dios so I kinda didn't want to...I think you people get my point). So...any recommendations? I'd prefer free games, but if there's paid games too, I'll manage.

Honestly, be frank. Don't use my profile pic as your first impression, I used that kind of pic just for the heck of it.

Oh, games outside of Kemco can work too, but I've kinda lost interest in sims now...I used to play Kairosoft games actually...he he...

Edit: I'm gonna rephrase, because I wasn't sure the first time. Low graphic games can do, all it needs to be is fun (just not too low. I've heard that Crystareino was fun, but I quit it not after long...sorry if I disappointed anyone). And a balance of pummeling enemies and a bit of a challenge, plus a nice protagonist. Ooh, an awesome antagonist could work too (I'm kidding here, but awesome villains are awesome, you oughtta agree).

Just to mention, I'm not a hardcore gamer. Juuuuuust to mention...

Hmm.... Seeing as though you have a preference for Dios style graphics, I would recommend ( please note that there are few games for what information you have written )

1) Kemco Execreate games
Revenant Saga ( Paid ) ( Field has same graphics as Dios but has 3D turn based battles )
Revenant Dogma (Paid/Free)( Same as Saga )
Glorious Savior ( Paid/Free )( Same as Saga )
Alphadia Genesis 1&2 ( Paid )( Same as Saga )
Illusion of Lphalicia ( Paid )( Same as Saga )

Kemco/ WorldwideSoftware
Symphony of Origin ( Not the same graphics as Dios , but the animations are really top notch )( Paid )

Non Kemco:
(Since I only play non RPG 3d games so )
( this is an rpg )Chaos Rings I,II,III and Omega ( Trust.me these are good, 1GB RAM recommended phone and these are really expensive )
( ARPG ) Implosion ( 1GB minimum phone )
Bards Tale and so many more actually.

Hi Primal Max,

My first recommendation would be Unlucky Hero. It's not a Kemco game, but it's made by the same development team as the Asdivine games. The dialogue, main character, story line, battle system, etc. are all superior to Dios and Menace. (Plus you can play the free trial before you buy it - but it's absolutely worth the price.)

Also any of Azyleo's recommendations are good. Some others I'd recommend, though many of them have different or perhaps even lower quality graphics:

1. Machine Knight (free, all around casual type game, awesome dialogue)

2. Symphony of Eternity (paid) - it's sort of a prequel to Symphony of the Origin but has an engaging storyline. However, if you only play one Symphony game - it should be Origin, not Eternity

3. Eclipse of Illusion (paid) Pretty straightforward game, but it has job classes with different skills, and a really strong bonus boss after you beat the game

4. Alphadia and Alphadia II (both paid) The graphics are nowhere near as good in these games, and the dialogue in Alphadia is a bit "off," like the translator didn't quite understand how to translate it into common "American slang." (Not sure how else to describe it. You still know what's going on but the dialogue is not very engaging.)

Also, the graphics are really cheesy, the battles are ridiculously simple, and dungeons are almost impossible to get through unless you use the maps in the Alphadia Walkthrough section. (Seriously, I almost gave up on Kemco altogether when I played this game - but for some reason the story is still one of my all time favorites.)

There's plenty of others that are definitely worth the price and the time it takes to beat the game. Also, many of Kemco's older titles have lower quality graphics, but often times they have much better stories, so there's a bit of a trade off there. Keep in mind that Kemco puts 10 or 12 games on sale for $.99 each about 5 or 6 times a year (different titles each time), so if you decide you really love their games, you should wait for a sale and then just buy a ton of 'em. And you can always ask here, we have no problem telling people which games NOT to buy as well :P

(And in that category....)

Stay away from Valkyria Soul, Dead Dragons, Soul of Deva, and Seven Sacred Beasts. They're just not well put together games. Also, Blood of Calamity. It's not a bad game actually, but the main character is a womanizing noble man and is pretty direct in the lines he uses on women in the game (which, whatever, the same sort of dialogue is in tv shows and movies, but it just seems like it actually takes away from the overall gaming experience on this one, so for me it was a real turn off.)

Just a thing to note, glorious savior has a huge amount of suggestive innuendos in like every event lol ( but seriously you will be laughing way to hard though )

They're all (censored) though, and they do make the game more fun (as opposed to Calamity, where they just made me want to turn it off)

Whoa, I never expected to receive sooooo many replies that soon! Other forums I've signed up took atleast three days to get a reply, if luck's on your side. Glad to see this category has a lot of active people!

To Azyleo (The first reply from the first person to post in my first thread...he he...I'm gonna parcel you a badge, don't worry about addresses, I know it already, and that's when you know I'm lying when I say the latter part of the statement):

Well, when I checked my thread starter, it did seem vauge.....I guess I oughtta edit this a bit. I've played other games too, but weirdly, I lose interest fairly quickly. Last time I remember, when I played Asdivine Hearts the first time...I stopped playing it for quite a few days, then after I tried it, I couldn't stop playing for a few days again, and then after getting the normal ending, I suddenly lost interest in getting the True ending. Oops, I'm going on and on now, aren't I?

Ooh...I should've mentioned this before...All I have is 400 something MB data remaining, so.....I'm gonna try this when my dad buys WiFi (which I imagine would take a few months...*bangs her head on the study desk*)

Anyways, I really thank you for your suggestion. I'll try to get my hands on these!

To MSG Commander (no comment this time, you're awesome, from what I've heard while I've been surfing around here for months):

Unlucky Hero, huh? I'm gonna check on it maybe later, (goes for all the games, cause I have my Final Exams starting tomorrow. With Hindi. Gah *bangs her head on the study desk again* I hate studying Hindi)

Hmm...Machine Knight, I've played this one too, but the systems confused me and the gameplay seemed quite tough for me. Anyways, I stopped playing after losing interest (it was fun though, but as I mentioned I lose interest real quick, with this fact also applying to TV shows, Animes, and everything), but I'm pretty sure I'll regain it once I start forcing my way through the game. That's how I started kinda liking Asdivine Hearts and Menace (*grins*)

I'm.....gonna go edit the thread starter, cause I for noooooi apparent reason went ahead to download Journey to Kreisia and am now loving it. (Darn, now I'm confused, what is it that I like in the games? *bangs her head yet AGAIN on the study desk* why am I so confusing?)

Blood of Calamity...(*shudders*) It was freaky......soooo freaky! I downloaded it from the description (before I made this thread actually), and with me being a girl....(*shudders again*)...I think you can imagine...

Hmm........Glorious Saviour, huh? Is it fun? If yes, then I'm gonna check it. Now....I'm gonna go edit the Thread starter, so seeya!

Anyways , Everyone has their own tastes and as thus its nothing new since some of my friends hate Hearts ( and they Love Kreisia )( and me who.plays every game for.the heck of it .)

( Good Luck with Exams , since I also have them and I am a rebel ( not really ).)

Eh he....thank you for the reply, I guess I'm gonna get used to this forum in just a few days.

Ooh, I've collected all the info I could collect from Asdivine Dios and Menace about a lot of things (Murk, Spirit Trees, Crystals, Deities, Original Deities, Magic Founts with some being really short and some being really long) and I gotta do is arrange it properly. I'd like to post it somewhere, so do I have to post it in the game forums or is there a separate place for it? Just to say, its certain that it won't be prepared until 21 of this month, when my exams will be over. Soo, any help?

But well....is it even something to be posted separately? And...I guess most of it is common knowledge for those who play it, so should I even do this?

I like kemco games for it's simplicity. It's not for really hardcore gamers though as you can complete everything including extra contents in around 30 to 50 hrs of gameplay.

If you want a really hardcore games try looking at square-enix games. Some of them are free and very very good like Heavenstrike Rivals and Deadmans Cross.

Also, their paid games are usually ported from snes or psp so if you decide to buy it, it ranges from 5 to 15 usd (There is only one 20 usd game and it;s Final Fantasy 8 from PS1). But since these games are ported, they are full blown rpgs and will take around 60 to 70 hrs of gameplay just to finish and if you want a total completion, will take around 80 to 150hrs of gameplay.

Not intended to sound negatively (in any possible way) but.....I think I mentioned that I'm not a hardcore gamer.......

Anyways, thanks for trying to help. I also imagine those would be quite a large size to download, which I can't cause all I get is 1GB a month. Yet, I appreciate you trying to help, Alev.
