RPG Insanity

So I just finshed my first Hit-point game Legend of the Tetrarchs,and there's something that really bothered me, the bosses getting revived. Especially the last boss of the true ending, he not just gets revived with some health, but with all of it. It was really tiring and I don't to experience anything like it in the future. So my question is, do all Hit-point games have this annoying thing? Or is it just this game?

To my knowledge, Tetrarchs is the only hit point game that does that.

Annoying but that's old-school style RPGs for you.
