Please tell me this forum aint flooded with Scammers !!

I swear I see more of these I will scream. I'll purge them outta my inbox, but here's one new one..

@james1013 Yeah I saw that in my inbox earlier today too. I must admit that my first impression of this website was tainted by scammers that sent me messages when I first joined two months ago. They (both the messages & the scammers) have since been deleted.

If you get any scammers in your inbox, please message one of the mods (me and mastertek) or @msg-commander so that we can ban them.

Actually (unless it has been changed) moderators can't ban anyone. Only @msg-commander can do it. And currently I have hard time getting here, hopefully I'll be able to be here more often from Tuesday.

@azyleo, I'm sorry.. but I told that a long time ago (at the time I had to manually delete large amounts of Topic SPAM every day, one by one). And, to be honest, it's good to know what a moderator can and can't do. I don't want to tell a lie to a friend if I am unable to do something for him/her.

I already reported it to @msg-commander as soon as I found the mail.

On an unrelated sidenote: Can the scammer be arrested for stolen valor? Claiming to be part of the US army and all...surely they know how to spell...

It really does hurt, especially when MSG and I can both, and I got the last scammer...

Also, when you find one, tell MSG and I and don't delete the message until the user has been deleted. This makes finding out who the heck the scammer is a lot easier.

Apologies! I literally forgot you were an admin. Maybe because you weren't as active when I was active, and now you're active in forums when I am not so that caused some confusion on my end.
