RPG Insanity

This was clearly one of EXE-Create's longest games so far and they were quite ambitious in their skill tree which i liked. I also liked grid based combat making a return as it was more fun to use skills efficently that way. I was able to farm enough Angel tears and get a lucky spin that i got the trial tower early on and got a hit of the sinker cameo. The story was ok but the twists were mediocre and sexual harassment is not funny. How Lexor was able to stay in the party for so long is the kind of sh*t that commentary youtubers woyld pause the game and utter a WTF to the camera. The only exciting moments came i such short bursts only at the end of the game so nothing with sticking around for. Like you guys, I disliked the weapons for being vendor trash 90% of the time and not having any synthesis to make Allie even stronger (I chose her to dump all my stat boosters on) and same story with the gear. The battle arena felt lackluster that I didnt bother finishing it as i was done with this game already.

 

Overall, Ruinverse is like Far Cry, its pure comfort food but this one feels tasteless.
