Oh.. I guess I rush too fast as currently I'm at level 44, every hidden area checked and was well into a suspicious tower, but my inventory went full so I teleported out.. Also, I accidentally sold a spell I wanted to keep for later.. Just saw that I could update Mana Spell two levels earlier xd This would help a little.
I would definitely die without that spell as monsters keep on being harder. But now I can stand against them with a little effort. Also, I stumbled upon first weapon that heals Mana for the entire party upon striking enemies although it happens 25% of the time.
I always keep three armors that boost a Stat for character that can equip it even though I usually have something better equipped.

I knew you were making speedy progress. That's a good idea about the armor, but I haven't done that. I've been keeping those scrolls that require a much higher level than I am at, so I don't have much room in my inventory. I can handle most monsters so far, but if I get ambushed by a mob at this level, they might destroy my party. I drop items as I go (even though that loses me gold), because I don't want to have to use an orb to way, way back to Clarrow. I have enough gold that I'm not bothered by the expense, but the long trek through endless monsters is something I'd rather avoid.
Yes, managing the inventory is a pain because the sorting isn't exactly right, and thkere is only one way to sort. (It doesn't put multiple tomes of the same type together, for example).

Trust me, the small boost these Armors give is a great addition.
Also, I found myself selling almost every Scrool I'm sure I won't use because I saw almost all of these as books already, I only kept damage dealing 52+ level Scrool so Cleric can do some damage when he's at that level. Healing Scrools aren't worth keeping.
The way to the Tower was tough, monsters are still able to destroy my entire mana pool with or without ambush if Cleric doesn't want to cast Paralysis. I buy way too much Mana Potions. They get more expensive at every city but what I find and sell is covering the budget for my party.
I found myself to not play Slots at all even though at the beginning of the game it looked a very big way to earn money and Scrools. The only things I'd really want there to drop every time is Bottles of Life and Black Holes. Other stuff is totally worthless.

Also, I found myself selling almost every Scrool I’m sure I won’t use because I saw almost all of these as books already, I only kept damage dealing 52+ level Scroll so Cleric can do some damage when he’s at that level. Healing Scrools aren’t worth keeping. [Yes, that sounds like a good idea. Gold is needed to buy the potions, so keeping all the drops to sell them is the way to go. That means dumping all those scrolls.]

[Yes--I mentioned I have 99 of the small potions, 99 of the 91 level potions, and over 50 of the next level. I try to rely on small mana magic rather than the big hitters, and teleport back to Kanticle to reload. Then with whatever gold I can spare buy potions at Clarrow.]

You are right about the Bottles of Life and Black Holes, but they take too long to get. ]

Thanks for the details. I agree with everything you said. I'll be making the trek to the tower, I hope, in a day or two. So far I almost never use the Cleric except to buff and heal the party--he doesn't attack. That is because I use the small potions almost every turn every single turn. That tactic probably will not work as the monsters get stronger and cause more damage, unless somehow I can get the Cleric's Focus increased, or the shield buffs get stronger.

You can increase his Focus by casting any Focus Buff (Sorcerer has these spells). Also, I don't have best spells yet.
Just Finished looting the Tower.. Got the Map.. Sky Reach.. Level 46. Tried the Boss when the game allowed me to Auto-Save. Rumors don't lie. This Boss is a Big Deal! Died in fourth Turn. No way to Resurrect well and the Boss has a lot of HP as I dealt over 20k damage before I died. His Health Bar was still almost full. I'm glad that after death the game didn't Auto-Save as this was first time I ever saw death.. Except some time earlier when I was totally dead, three characters died, last with 170 HP but enemies decided to buff up so I had time to use Life in a Bottle which was the only thing in the world that could save that Time.

There is a decent poison spell at level 44 which should help. I assume this boss could not be paralyzed or put to sleep? I came across a level 43 monster in the arena that was immune to those, as well as some other magic. Not sure if speed would help, as maybe you can always go first, and maybe get two turns? There are some speed spells at level 44 (but speed may not be of much use here).

[I'll want to have Strength/Focus/Speed best Buffs as Shields already increase Vitality and current one costs 101 Mana which is a lot. ]

I'm sure that Speed doesn't affect how much things you can do in a single turn. Why? Even on Level 1 enemies I can only do one thing per character. However, Speed affects how much a character can hit enemies during his normal attack (at least I assume it's happening like that) due to being able to hit 3-4 times using Juggernaut and 5-6 with Warrior. Also, Speed affects your Fleeing ability but monsters keep on getting faster too (they attack more times).
Bosses are immune to Sleep/Paralysis but they're not immune to Poison Effects.
You're doing a bad thing by using the cheapest Potions. It might be usable outside of battle but in a hard fight there's no place to recover 21 MP only when you have over 1500 MP total. And by having all types of Potions you end up with less space to deal with. And less space equals to more backtracking (that's the reason I did 5+ runs to Spinebreak Caverns.. I kept all Scrools from Slots.) Last thing about MP Potions : The Tower is the very first area where I already used 25 MP Potions. And I'll use many more because I have to level up.
I'll try Arena soon
