You are proof that game designers know how to stimulate our greed

But 59K–you are getting quite muscular!

[/quote]

The game is well-designed in terms of being challenging and due to enemies having up to 8k health now the party had to find new ways to deal more damage. Level Ups help :)

The biggest issue is that for now I have no place to explore and level up while doing this. I'd rather want to spend some hours collecting Treasure than standing in one spot..

I know what you mean about standing in one place to grind--I'm doing that now with my Juggernaut.  As I don't have any good equipment for him, he just defends or heals every turn.  He is at level 20 now as I stand outside Clarrow doing battle.

Hey...did you ever come across Wave of Slumber III?  I have not, and you are even further along, but have you seen it?  And I've put in more than 3 hours in Breckerton hidden area, but still no Wave of Paralysis III.  And I've never seen Wave of Paralysis II.

You will find equipment for Juggernaut at hidden areas.. Now you can see why I am making sure the Party at the Inn has great equipment (not spells unfortunately as I would need to Grind Templar to give him the awesome spells for him.)

I didn't find Wave of Slumber III (Got lucky with Rank II) although I read it's obtainable at the Tower of the East. I bet every spell that you can find at any area can also be dropped as Rank III although with much lower chance at some spells. And I read Paralysis can be found in the area I mentioned (North-West Hidden Area of Brecketon), most likely the only place it's available. I guess I had a lot of luck with the drop.

I can't say that with Mana Spells as I never found a single Rank III Mana Regen Spell.

I'm almost at level 53, updated Mana Spell and Single Target Heal Spell as now I see I don't use Potions. The Sorcerer's weapon gives exactly 66 MP with a chance.

I'm grinding in Hidden Areas around Norwind as enemies there are easier to beat yet give close amount of experience. Loot, however gives 2k less experience than Tower Enemy Loot.

It sounds like you are getting close. I think I still have one hidden area around Norwind to do.  Just where is the one the is supposedly "close" to the town?

I'm almost 5 hours into the hidden area in Breckerton.  I finally got a little bit of stuff: Wave of Paralysis II (but not III), 2 Hearts of Focus, a few Blue Gems.  I'll do another hour there, then go back to trying to level Juggernaut.

If you're asking about where do I grind now, I'm trying to find map while grinding at the North East Hidden Area. 8 Enemies give around 350-400 Exp and I can deal with them easily.

That's good to hear you found such treasure (Sorcerer should get all Focus Buffs). A few Blue Gems is better than 120 Green Gems. I hope you will get the spell soon.

Level 54 Reached :)  It's definitely worth it to have much stronger Strength and Speed Buff + A Strong Poison Spell. I feel more confident that the Dragon will fall.. But I still need a few more levels.

Spark III.. It was the best damaging spell until level 50.. With 9900% Max Focus Bonus it became my best friend. But I see that it's about time to replace it with something better. Wild Spark III.. It was the best multi strike spell until I found out that 165 MP cost is no big deal for 2.5k+ Damage and 1k Heal at the same time.

This means that Sorcerer has two free spaces available :)

Also, after several hours of grinding I finally found the Rank III Level 60 Replacement spell that hurts enemies when they attack. Don't remember the name..

Previously on the Dragon's Blade.

Dragon, one of the finest Juggernauts from Clarrow, leads the Heroes through the Sky Reach. His Goal is to defeat one of the Dragons, who wants to take over the world by making an Immortal Dragon in the world..

Dragon : Friends, it's finally the time to face the toughest beast we've seen so far. We had to flee the first time before he could destroy us! But, we've trained in Norwind, we are currently at 58th Degree..

Queen Diana : Wait! We should train our skills at least to 60th degree! My Master said that I'm close to unlock new Powers which should be enough to cure Your Wounds better! Who has saved your life countless times from every dangerous situation? What if I were able to Resurrect you if you happen to die? That's why we can't fight yet. I am Queen Diana, the Apprentice. Someday I will become the best Cleric. But I can't protect myself well..

Arthur : She's right! We can't risk dying in the middle of our adventure! I am here to help you! Who can protect your life better than I, Prince Arthur, The Mighty Warrior from Norwind? You are the strongest person, but without the Shield and the Magic you would be doomed.

Xehanort: In This World my Fate has been chosen. I am the greatest Sorcerer! Do not underestimate me! Heed my words, Dragon. One does not simply fight a beast alone. If you want, go ahead and face the enemy. But I know I've got to practice using my new Magic. And you can't stop me. So, what is your choice? Will you die alone? Or will you stay safe with friends until the day I.. we will be ready to face the odds. And your name has not been picked because you are as strong as any Dragon. You have the Power unimaginable to the Dragon Species. But the journey to unlock it is not easy. Your choice.

Dragon : I'm sorry, my friends. I want to save the World no matter the cost. But you made me realize something important.. I am ready to sacrifice myself at any time, any day. You have families, I lost everything because I didn't care about anything. If you say you're in need of Training, I shall grant you permission. I will accompany you and will improve even more! After all, we're not in a video game, are we?

The End.

What a wonderful narrative!  Not only is it entertaining, but you include some good information to help players.  Wow...good luck with the next phase.

I'm now in Norwind with just one more hidden area on the way to Sky Reach.  Based on your comments @mastertrek, I'm slowing down now to grind before I do that hidden area (I'm only at level 42).  I don't have any major problem with the outside monsters, unless it is an ambush mob.  However, I need to be strong enough to enter the tower and not be just hanging on because of the beating I take getting there. Leveling up should help, but I'll stretch that over several days (or longer).
