Question: does a monster give on average the same amount of EXP when defeated on the world map as it does when defeated in a dungeon/hidden area? I'm asking about the same monster in both circumstances.

You should enter the Tower as I made it through up to opening The Boss Door at level 43. Also, If you can deal with the enemies, you should check hidden areas because of equipment inside. Better equipped party means easier fights.

The treasure there will gear up Juggernaut even more (I prefer weapons with Chance to deal extra damage over strength boost but I have a replacement weapon too just in case I want it.)

There's no real difference in experience that you get but different monster gives different amounts of experience. But monster loot gives full experience only if you give it before you reach Quest Level. That's why at around level 50 I decided to Grind in Hidden Areas because I didn't want to go to tower 50 times. It was faster at that point to Grind at easier area but once I got level 55 I went to tower once, in 3 hours I got enough loot and experience to get to level 58.

That's very good to know.  I know what you mean about going over and over to the same spot.  But how do I know what "Quest Level" is?

For your information, Quest Level for Loot around Norwind is 53-55 depending on item you give (you need 5 of monster loot). Quest Level at Tower is 63-64. When you give the items you can see the Quest Level and warning that Experience can go lower after character reaches said level. Same goes with Enemy Experience which goes down to no experience if your level is too high.

I never would have discovered that, because I always drop that junk as soon as I get it.  I haven't turned anything in to the fireplace guy since Breckerton.

Well, right now that junk gives 3k experience (Norwind), close to 5k experience (Tower). So it is worth to give it instead of selling from this point unless your level is higher than Quest Level and you have no intention of farming at the area anymore. :)

3K!  I didn't expect that; Breckerton junk was only around 700, if I remember correctly.  I will definitely keep it now.  Thanks.

Well, as it turns out, even a few levels more won't decrease Experience significantly given by enemy Loot :)

Today's Goal : Level 60! Completed as I had enough Loot to get 22k experience :)

If you find Shield of Combustion III, keep it as this will mean enemies will take 2-4k damage just through hitting your party! Most spells I have cost 150+ MP, so as you can tell, cheap Potions aren't worth anything anymore. I'll need to get to Level 62 to get next Mana Upgrade. After that I'll try the Boss (but I still have to buy a Full Resurrect Spell for Cleric.)

I think the town leadership will assess you the costs of building a new landfill to contain the mountains of corpses you are piling up.  22K from loot!  I can't even imagine that.
