I just now made it into tower. Without your help, I’d probably still be trying to swim across the river. My party is in decent shape (level 48 now). I still have one remaining hidden area for Norwind (the one on the way to the Tower), but I know I’ll be teleporting back to the town so I’ll have another chance at it.

That's great! Explore the entire Tower, get the equipment and you'll have several hours more of grinding to do.. The Hidden area should be easy for you

Do you happen to know what triggers the Sorcerer’s “spiritual refreshment” (or whatever it is called)? Is it the number of “rounds” (perhaps a random amount, but with same average)?
[/quote]
All Class-specific abilities trigger randomly.
Juggernaut has an All-Hit ability but it seems to be weaker than his own attack.
Cleric can restore small amount of HP, to the party (not useful).
Warrior can guard anyone, taking all hits.
Sorcerer, as you said, has the ability to restore his own mana although you'll be better using his MP restoring weapon than relying on his ability. But it'd be nice having that ability appear more.
Currently I'm at level 66, close to 67 but I'm dying when I want to loot hidden areas which have the equipment I'm really in need of.

Finally one hidden area explored (unsure if I collected all treasure there as I teleported out in fear I’d lose 20 minutes again) although no useful stuff. 3 or 4 areas cleared.
Levels get done fast if I don’t die. Level 67.

Level 67? You got there fast.
I know what you mean. I don't mind the time that much, but if I get some really good drops, I don't want to lose them. Consequently, I'm being very cautious in the tower. I can stand the death of warrior and thief, but not the sorcerer or cleric. I might be able to win the battle without one of them, but losing all their mana isn't something I want to accept. They don't have much defense, and can easily be overwhelmed.

I'd rather stand the death of a Cleric or Sorcerer (at least for the Grind part. Losing all magic when you are in the middle of searching stuff is tough..) than die. You can always buy Potions to restore a little mana (Gem cost is too high to bother buying the mp Potions for me at new area).
So far I used 25 mp Potions just to check all closest hidden areas, surviving in any of them is the issue.. But I might be able to make it through to even tougher areas.

Level 70 Reached! It's an experience milestone as now I need 140k experience to level up (Triple amount between level 69 and 70) so it's going to be tough leveling up now.
Found the very first Mana III boost, I really need it as I'll be able to at least cover the mana expenses. Also, I somehow explored a little of one cave. Yay.

70? Great, but from your comment about the jump of 140K to level 71, I guess your thrill of success must be short lived. It must be like climbing Everest--you work like crazy, are oxygen deprived, but when you look up, you see how far you still have to go.....Thanks for continuing to send dispatches from the front

I have just one blue button to go. I should just make it before I need to warp back to Norwind. The Thief is a real liability here, as the reflect from the monsters destroys him. I did have my sorcerer die once, but we could manage that, and my cleric once, but we can also overcome that. I'm going to take a rest now, and when I get back to it I should get that last blue button.
