Mystic job/Plate Help?? And NG+???

And the only actual grinding I bothered with was Actual overall lvl honestly i figured like most games I've played be it Kemco or even Sqaure Enix if I lvl up I should be able to best everything in my path

This game is different. You get more Stat ups from Growth Plates and once you reach level 99 your stats can only go up through Growth Plates. Once you hit level 99 the xp required to level up will be the same every time you level up. That's for Growth Plate Stat farming.

So I've noticed after Lvl 99 you still gain the exp but it is rewarded as EP afterwards so naturally I'll assume that's what you meant in terms of grinding for jobs but I'll admit the job plate concept is kinda new to me but still trying to learn the mechanics of it.. kinda reminds me of final fantasy's Sphere System in ffx

a class is maxed out when its class rank shows max, also irias strength score as a neo dragoneer should be high so i wasnt surprised by any of this, also only the warrior class can compare to the lion heart and dragonite classes in terms of strength, and no class matches the brigand king save the psychic class (which is a terrible class over all IMPHO), and magic wise no class matches the sage and sorceror classes..... but what we are getting at is you need to increase your stats more by simply spending more AP, my lucas at level 64 had a strength score of 781, with hp over 6k (lion heart is kinda op in this regard for hp growth) but this was do to super grinding to figure out best grinding plates for stats.....

 

you need to atleast get both him and iria over 400 in str through simple plate training, elodie needs her int score over 400 if main magic DPS, over 450 if she is your main healer (i know odd, but the sages heal II spell heals enough to full restore the whole party at this int score) and minimum of 250 spd, with your main speedster which i am guessing is melvin over 400 to be able to act as an item support/sabotage specialist

 

you have the pieces you just need to get your stats up a little.... also your hp is a little low aswell but that will come as you master plates for the other stats

Unless he's going for Infinity Pentacle health isn't an issue (4k is enough for last bosses if the party can do some damage on it).

it also doesnt help that leveling up only increases hp and ap and only putting points into the plates can boost str, vit, int and agi
