Hi, was wondering what this dish effect "Surprise Seal" does? I tried to look at the Manual but I cant find the explanations, thanks!

Surprise seal mean u can't be ambush by randoms encounter.

Hi, what do you mean by ambush? Is it when the monster having their turn first to attack?

@minseaman, yes. That's what this means But most of the time it isn't a big issue unless you are not strong enough to take a few hits from Ambush

How about Battle NG Evasion?

Battle NG evasion give u chance to survive from fatal damage so ur char will have guts guts ability which give 1 hp and not die

you have 2 types of encounter

first, Normal encounter. you encounter in a regular interval

second, Surpries attack. you can encounter randomly. you might encounter just after you met monsters. which is bothering

in a surprise attack, monsters usually attack first. you can avoid it by dish effect"First attack".

or you can avoid "Surprise attack" by dish effect "Surprise Seal"

 

if you dont wanna encounter monsters a lot, you might better have some surprise seal dishes. 1 dish effect is enough
