Miden Tower - New EXE Create game
Google play says game is incompatible with my device (Asus Nexus 7), so I guess I just saved $8.99.
[EDIT] I just wasted 30 minutes in "chat" with what I hope was a robot on Google Play (otherwise a really dim human). The "incompatible" is correct, so Kemco is doing something different (I have maybe 25 Kemco rpg on the same device). Probably the recent Play Store requirement to use SDK 28 (or higher) is the cause of the change.

Older, but not wiser
To follow up on what Lemmy was saying...
I've also noticed how similar the core gameplay systems of Exe-Create games are. No matter which Exe-Create game you start with, I recommend browsing its in-game "help" section in the menu. The "help" section is essentially a digital instruction manual.
90% of the "help" section will describe basic RPG gameplay conventions that you've likely seen a million times before. The other 10% will discuss the game's unique systems that make the difference between struggling for dear life or being broken overpowered.
For example, in Infinite Dumanis, the "help" manual has a specific line of text that explicitly states "This is how the characters can learn Cluster Heal", one of very few things that can quickly heal the whole party. Overlook that, and one could very well spend the whole game with a staggering lack of mass-healing options.

Imagine hating an Exe-Create game...
...
...
...
Nope. Can't do it.
However, this one does have the "uncanny valley" art style for the animated battle sprites of its playable characters. I don't like that art style very much, so the odds that I'll buy or play it are low.

I'm still working on finishing FF8. I dropped Romancing saga 2 because I keep getting my ass handed to me. Multiple times.
I'm not that much of a hater though. I like that their games are consistent and easy to pick up. Its basically like going out to your favourite restaurant a few times a year. they're short but consistent and sweet.

We don't make mistakes. We just have happy accidents.
