Undiscovered Area & Random Questions
I'm missing the area between Spirit Hollow and Monster Region Level 350. It's probably the level 250 region, but I haven't found it yet. Can someone point me in the right area? Without an encounter/step item, it's a real pain to explore. The 'Luring Ring's is a lie! It is no help on tiny areas ...yes level 600 I'm talking about you!
Also has anyone figured out how to enter Akane's village?

The special islands are interesting in this one, a couple being just barely big enough to land on lol. As for 250, the monster guide says it's the small island directly west of the guild testing area.
So far no clue on akane's village.. all jobs/subs done, all secret arenas done, all possible endings watched (as far as I know) Plus the extra little hint of meeting the guy in helion town.. nothing.
I guess one thing I haven't done is level all magic for everyone up to 99.. takes awhile. If anyone knows a better sp area than the expert metal region please lemme know.

I've got all the magics leveled to max. That didn't affect anything.
That metal island is probably the best place to level, but to break up the tedium I alter with Lost Ruins to farm Behemoth Horns for critical effect up.
Overall this game isn't bad, but it does have several little head-scratching annoyances.

I've done the first playthrough.
So if anyone can be so kind to answer a few questions for me. I am replaying on a second save.
How do I level the rare item drop slot on my weapon.
How do i level my weapons past 160+99 attack and the actual weapon past 99
How many guild jobs do i have to do to advance in tier 2 job level.
How do I access post game content. I beat it then it said save I did and when I continue and or loaded that save I was at the boss and told to save. I think it's broken.
I'm new to forums so I apologize if I didn't do the best posting ty in advance.

In order to increase the rare drop value on a weapon, you need to synthesize the weapon with other weapons that feature the rare drop increase effect. I don't remember if such weapons are dropped by enemies, but I know that there's at least one weapon for each party member with rare drop increase effect that can be acquired from the in-game premium shop's ticket section.
If I remember correctly, +99 is the maximum bonus value for weapons, and you can't increase a weapon's base value.
I think you need to complete 10 jobs and reach a certain point in the story to unlock the next 10 jobs, and then it's the same again. Also, there are several times over the course of the story during which it's rather obvious to check for new guild jobs.
Concerning the (non-existent) post-game, please read my post directly above your first one.
My guess is that the game differentiates between "half steps" and "full steps", so if you can only walk in "half steps" on a tiny island (which also don't amount to a "full step"), the Luring Ring's effect doesn't activate, since it's supposed to trigger a battle (only) for every "full step".
