I noticed that original SaGa has 77 chapters than 63 that we have in Remake. I'm on chapter 53 which is about Zandark Tower but i accidently reset the whole game because i change my storage path from internal to sd card (the truth is i did something to permanently bypass the timer, it worked but it erased my savedata). And we know that old game like the Original SaGa doesn't have the function of local save cloud. maybe.

 

I have two theory about it.

First is that we have extra chapters before we fight Axel or Allard and then fight Thanatus  in the original SaGa.

Second is a literal post-game after final confrontation against Thanatus. But there's something makes me wondering.

The swords that affecting the endings.

Since we can play the Remake in English we learn that using different sword than Arondight or old sword can affect the ending.

Using Arondight can save Axel or Allard and get the ending of Vyse, Axel and Feena. or Axel and Feena end.

Using different sword, like let's say Ultima Weapon or Ragnarok (in remake), Axel died and sacrifice his last stand of life energy to recover your senses and fight Thanatus and end him once and for all. And we got the ending of protecting Nondia Village and visiting his grave.

And rest of ending is based on trust meters on each heroines, but Original SaGa doesn't have trust meters so i'm gonna check about it too later.

 

So how does the post-game works? That's the question. Either we got a literal post-game battling Thanatus in some dimentional spaces (again) or we facing something we not expected. Or either events that we not expecting.

If only Nemomon is active, it would be easy to check the differences of each version. Since he/she got more knowledge about it and play the game many years ago.

And think he/she has knowledge about Japanese language. So i hope if anyone here able to contact Nemo, please tell me where i can contact him/her.

There's some things i need to check and clarify.

I don't know if those 14 extra chapters is part of Side Quest which is make my theory debunked.

I forgot my password to my old account, so I became a lurker, but I'm still active. I'm not sure I will be able to help you now. I had the game on my old tablet that one day stopped launching, and now I don't even know where that tablet is. Plus, I dare to say that I played SaGa more than 10 years ago, so I don't remember anything about it anymore. But if anything, check out the comparision topic I made about Asdivine Cross. In that game we had some extra bosses (like deities having 2 forms), places &c., so maybe that's why the number of chapters isn't the same. Also, Asdivine Cross had a cheat mode accessed by inputing certain code. I think SaGa might have it too, so maybe look out in the Internet for it, to make a replay faster.

Read about it like few days ago and that's why i want to contact you as possible since you have knowledge of Japanese Language (Kanji or Katakana i guess) .

No one started yet in Asdivine Saga so I'm starting to make my own. I'm impressed on your comparison bud. One of the reason I'm motivated to make comparison of SaGa and Saga.

By the way, how did you access the Original Cross? I see in your thread that you have Screenshot of it.

Also checking Asdivine Cross site in EXE-CREATE site and found some interesting stuff.

 

And about Alphadia 3  to 5 remake, what do you think? I guess still long way before those 3 got their own remakes or rather port. But since the remake of SaGa and the upcoming Alphadia NEO maybe at least 3 possible to got a remake?

I ever needed to learn katakana, because usually menus or item names are written in it. I don't really know Kanji, but when you work with Japanese you habit to it and its weird characters, so you don't feel intimidated when you see some weird Kanjis.

Feel free to talk here about anything you want! Originally this website was meant to be kids friendly because MSG's nephew back then was still a kid. If now he's not yet a young adult, he surely is a late teenager, so perhaps you could still get away with some remarks .

About screenshots, same as you I had a dump of the game, and played it on the tablet (along with the timer). I was taking away the screenshots and uploading them here. In fact I remember I had some SaGa screenshots too, but I don't remember anymore if I ever posted them here or not.

I did see that Alphadia Neo, and I'm waitingh for it too. It's nice that they finally decided to bring the series back to life. And considering that they made a separate Alphadia Portal for it (same as Asdivine Portal), chances to create remakes of the remaining games are very high. However, it still took them very long time since the creation of the portal to bring a remake Asdivine SaGa, and it was just a single game. Here we have several games to bring, and surely EXE-CREATE won't bring one after another, so expect some years at soonest.

About comparison topic I made it back then because of "why not". But now even if you would pay me to play the game I wouldn't to that. I'm not trying to discourage you, but since you already got the taste of the game, perhaps it would be better to move to another more recent games .

The differences intrigued me mostly the time when I discovered that Asdivine SaGa is a thing , it fueled being my "die hard fan" to know more about it. Like scenarios differences, event differences, stuff etc.

And when they announced the Asdivine Saga Remake for japanese platform, I'm really too happy to finally experience it in English and I try the japanese ver and overall it's good but since i can't understand japanese during it's release in 2020 i give up playing till the release of English ver. (thank god, it's available in Qoo-App in 2020 JP ver.)

I'm just getting back from focusing on KEMCO stuff, like i stopped playing and investigating stuff around 2018-19. The last game i remember I played is Legend of the Tetrarchs and Steel Illusion: Chrome Wolf but sadly I forgot my account where I have my Premiums along with the Legend of the Tetrarchs. I'm already too far gone from their updates in games and stuff.

Same, i'm also waiting for this too. Tried to play the game and it's very interesting. Fishing mechanics somehow good and Arrange OST version or NEO version of the original Soundtracks is good too, better than the Genesis version (for me).

And NEO has some concepts of 3 to 5. I feel the story is a concept mixed of 3 and 4. Since there's Energi Star or Crystal and kingdom conflicts just like in 1 and 3. And they made the portal after the announcement of Neo.

I feel there's a meaning to it. Or clues.
