The best weapons are the legendary weapons that are obtained from completing guild jobs. to unlock these jobs, you need to beat the final boss at least once and save then complete jobs 1-30 including the "guild test IV". Each job will point you to a specific dungeon where you need to beat a boss guarding the weapon. It's best to grind levels and spells on the metal islands to make beating them easier. The weapons are:

Vyse- Ragnarok

Celes-Destinia

Nisha-Apocalypsia

Akane-Ame no Murakumo

The best armors are the "Spiritia mail" for Vyse and the "demoness dress" for the heroines, obtained from the guild exchange. I believe you need to beat all the arena cups on all difficulties, including the maid cup, to make them available. fortunately, they are very cheap, costing 80 coins each.

I am here to fix for Vyse.

Vyse best weapon is Arondight and for armor is Large Plate.

Arondight deal more damage plus it's additional HP and MP bonus.

Large Plate is for more tanky defense Vyse.

 

Edit: Madame Curie Dress for a particular member due to it's passive buff too.

Thank for pointing this out. I just chose the Ragnarok because it changed the skin and it’s cool looking. And the large plate is less offensive than the other”legendary” armors that strangely have a lot of penalties.

the Ultima weapons can be a good choice with their BP cost reduction.

Ultima Weapons is one of the best weapons till you get Arondight and Legendary Weapoons for heroines.

They are great help for early game, as they help you spam bg powerful skills as possible.

(But i accidently merges them into a weak weapon lol, pain)
