Chapter 38 help (may contain spoilers)

Hi, I am currently stuck at Chapter 38. I was warped to a deserted Mansion and was asked to search deeper. The only path to the next room is blocked by two statues and I found two pedestals that only triggered some dialogue and nothing else. Can anyone advise what I should do to proceed? Thank you.

First you need to use the rope tool to reach these pedestals, which you've probably already done (tools can be selected via the Z key on PC). Then you need to select the Solid Fuel tool (flame symbol), which is used to light the pedestals, and by doing that, the statues are removed (it's sufficient to light one pedestal in this case, since each pedestal removes one statue and you only need one statue out of the way).
