Novels Rogue (working title) - spiritual Overrogue successor

If you enjoyed "Overrogue", here's great news: Its spiritual successor, "Novels Rogue" (working title), has been (or rather will be) announced at Tokyo Game Show 2024:

A pseudo-sequel to "Overrogue" doesn't come as a surprise, given how fun "Overrogue" was and how successful it seems to have been (especially on Steam). Hopefully, this time the in-game premium currency won't be bugged upon release.

By the way, I said "spiritual successor" and "pseudo-sequel" for a reason: Since I can't read Japanese, I have no idea if or how "Overrogue" and "Novels Rogue" will be connected apart from similar gameplay mechanics.

Don't worry, you're right.

This is a spiritual successor or more of a psuedo-sequel of Overrouge. A particular character from Overrouge appears in this game but they confirmed this entry is a sister-piece so whether you played Overrouge before or not.
