Kami are the Japanese deities that are venerated in the Shinto religion. They can also be the spirits of venerated dead people.

Onigami is compound name consisting of oni which means, devil, demon or malevolent spirit and kami which means spirit or god-like.

The Amaterasu Clan in game is most probably named after the Japanese sun goddess Amaterasu.

In Japanese folklore Tsukumo, a tool kami, are tools that have acquired a kami or spirit. Tsukumo in the game is a blacksmithing kami (tool) who also teaches magic arts.

Tbh this game has a lot of transliterations instead of translations... Makes it hard to understand in overall.

If it had a glossary of sorts like other games, then it would be OK, but currently it hinders usability.
