RPG Insanity

I'm assuming that the normal ending is for playing through the game, and that you continue playing after that for the other endings.

Looking at a video for this game on YouTube, it looks like at the actual end of the game, there are two choices. One choice gives you the mythical ending, while the other gives you the historic ending.

Is there anything special you have to do in the game to get these two choices, or do you just get them automatically?

If I remember correctly, you need to make a choice following the true final boss battle - one choice leads to the Mythical Ending, the other to the Historic Ending. I don't think that you need to fulfill any special conditions.
