RPG Insanity

So I've been running around all of the first floor where the soil treant are supposed to spawn, but have yet to fight one. I even used the rhythm that attracts enemies and nothing. Any tips? The catalog also has a monster entry with ?????, assuming that is the soil treant but could be wrong. Any help appreciated.

Yeah, if a monster suppression quest has no "# of monsters left to kill", then its one that's only fought in an event battle. Otherwise, use the drill statues to make the monsters appear.

Where did you run into soil treant at?? Tower, main area, bottom area, left side area(with next floor gate) I've been running back and forth for 12 hrs, nothing.  Tried 6 hrs on the tower. No luck. Really could use some help! Thanks

 

Editing: this is NOT a random encounter, nor is it available from the floor's tower. Attaching screenshot of the map position this soil treant is located. I apparently didn't explore the whole area. Hope this helps others who got stuck. Noticed after I found and edited, original author had already posted to help me. Thanks, Mii!!

So if I remember correctly it over here, I'll attach a screenshot. But this mob isn't the ones you randomly fight. It's one of the purple mob that you can see while walking around the map.
