In Isekai Rondo, four of Viola's summons are exclusive to Shop gacha.

This is annoying, but at least Shop currency is very easy to grind from regular encounters in console/PC versions. Also, no Achievements, Trophies, or panel rewards are gated behind Shop gacha.

(A few bestiary entries are gated behind Shop currency. They are the treasure chest enemies and possibly the Petit Metal Slime. The only way to fight them is to spend a small amount of Shop currency to fight treasure chests or fight metal enemies, at the encounter-rate pillars on certain floors. However, it takes only a small amount of Shop currency to fight them all.)

I tried 11 gacha rolls and got one of the summons - it was some kind of seal on a ball with the power to heal.

Has anyone obtained all four? I'm curious whether any of Viola's gacha summons are cameos from other Exe-Create games.

Viola's 4 gacha summons are:

- [Flamebird] Phoenix

- [Divine Speed] Dedeccoco

- [Bard Deity] Spakapukekul

- [Omniscient Deity] Shiki

 

I have no clue about the others, but Shiki is probably the one from Asdivine Kamura.

Except for Shiki, the rest is an original exclusive for Isekai Rondo.

Shiki (Spirit Deity protagonist of) is the only cameo from their another game (Asdivine Kamura). As far as feature phones characters, the rest are not from any old games.

I don't really regret ignoring Shop gacha until the end of my playthrough, but I would have approached the Isekai Rondo Shop differently if I'd known about the gacha-exclusive summons from the beginning.

The only indispensable Shop purchases were the Secret Room boosts that raise physical and magical damage up to 100%, and the key to the postgame Shop dungeon (which has nine floors, more exclusive bestiary entries, a funny side-story, and an exclusive cameo summon). I burned a lot of Shop currency on upgrades that aren't really worth the price.

Shop gacha arguably isn't worth the price either. The gacha summons certainly aren't needed to beat the game, which is fairly easy even on the highest difficulty of Very Hard.

I obtained two weapons from Shop gacha that appear to be "ultimate" weapons. For 99% of the game they're not as useful as the Battle weapons (which boost Speed by up to 30%, to the maximum value of 9999). Armed with common Battle weapons, powered up through the Smithy system, my party got so many turns that enemies and bosses were rarely a threat. The most difficult challenge was the Arena at lower than recommended levels.

In the late postgame, if the party has maximum stats and no longer needs a Speed boost from their weapons, the ultimate weapons from Shop gacha might be useful. Or they they might be inferior to the massively overpowered and possibly bugged Abyssus weapons that do more damage depending on how often skills are used, according to this thread

After the postgame ultimate superboss is defeated on each of the four difficulties, any further victories against the superboss award Shop currency. If I were going to grind out Shop currency to get all the gacha summons, I'd probably farm up the broken overpowered Abyssus weapons, max them out, and use them to swiftly and repeatedly overpower the postgame ultimate superboss on the highest autobattle-friendly difficulty.

That doesn't sound more fun than moving on to another game, though. Especially since the Journey to Kreisia console/PC port just came out!
