No official word from Kemco themselves anywhere, but it's about time.
This game's engine shares a lot from Astrune Academy's.
The encounter repel/attract boots are a permanent feature in the top right corner with mana spots you can touch for zero encounter rates. In turn, there's no monster pillars to force 3 fights back to back, and I think no teleport point you can set yourself.
There's specialty shops that sell one-of-a-kind stat boosters and the rarity gacha shop you can buy random things for gold.
There's no defend command, but you can standby to buff yourself. Buffs are also a lot simpler in Alter Age, as they are 1 stage only and ATK covers both STR & INT while DEF covers both VIT and MDF; there's only 3 buffs to worry about instead of 10 typically (2 stages x 5 stats).
Instead of 3 daily suppression quests, you have the generous mission system that rewards you for doing anything and the Season Pass on top of that. If you do give all your cooking stats to Arga, you should start every combat as Preteen Arga then Altering to Grownup Arga since that's a long-term goal, and building up Braver Hearts by Altering is also another long-term goal. There's also accessories that buff or generate more Braver Hearts when you Alter, for easier random encounters and more progress on that second goal.
As for Alter Age specific info,
As mentioned in the Uber-Boss topic, post-game has chests with the Heavenly weapons (Skill Power + Uses x 1.5 รท Hits). A similar weapon in Isekai Rondo was problematic since unlocking new skills replaced old skills and their uses, but in Alter Age, you keep old skills and their uses since new skills just get added to your skill list. Arga gets his powerful All or Nothing all-target AoE skill around Lv. 180ish, which you'll want a lot of uses of. In addition, more uses on Quatro Slash, Octo Slash, and Sedecim Slash wouldn't hurt, since you can chain all those skills together, and one of his passives gives him +80% damage with 1 Braver Heart out of 10 stockpiled.
One of Lillieka's passives grants her an +80% ATK/DEF/VIT/MND buff and another I think forces a critical hit as long as she has DEF Down, so while she can be an alternative damage dealer, you may need Arga's Alter mechanic more, especially for 3 bosses including the Uber-Boss.
As long as you don't make Elsie your damage dealer, you're fine. Her ultimate gacha weapon allows you to damage an enemy while asleep (exactly like Alphadia Neo's highest rank Water spell, but now you can use skills way stronger than 400 Force), so she'll be a support role while applying the Drenched status ailment for more player critical rate.
You don't need the MP Full Recovery (450) from the Aid Room because MP potions heal by a % of max MP, and I apparently ended up with 32 of those key items that restore 1% of max MP after battles, so resource management isn't a problem.
Each town has various juice stands you can buy for 50 gold, but I don't know the purpose besides different dialogue across the 3 characters x 2 forms. If you're Preteen Arga specifically, which I did for the entire game of my mobile playthrough, there's 4 NPCs that give him money. Town of Ramel = NW house, talk to grandpa as child for 100 gold. Ridge Town NW grandma for 200 gold. SW grandma Furia Town = 300 gold, City of Izora NW ingredient store east braver = 500 gold.
Alter Age lacks has an arena, nor a replacement like Alphadia Neo's fishing mini-game, but it still has a coin exchange shop. I forgot how you save up for it besides the exchanges for either 6,400,000 gold or 108 Phantom Stars (composted currency to unlock passive skills). I didn't buy the Aid Room's Exchange Desk Coupon on my mobile playthrough, probably because the rewards weren't worth it.
For equipment, the upgrade cap is +100 ATK/DEF, but doesn't have Sword of Elpisia's increased synthesis EXP key items. The Lv. 200 & 400 post-game areas drop Weapon Stone Ls frequently at least. While each weapon has a passive, you can't apply 2 more additional passives like in Isekai Rondo via monster materials or Astrune Academy by merging effects into stronger ones.
There's 16 One-of-a-kind items (abbreviated cardinal directions, W = West, SW = Southwest, etc.).
Great King Fish Pearl (70,000G, MND +30) = Village of Ruse, Sea of Fortune / Town of Ramel, The Fluttering Flower (W) / Seawind Harbor, New Venus (SW)

Like more recent Ryuji Takumi games, each shop will have weapons and an armor piece and randomly in its selection of 3, one that's slightly better (and character-specific for the weapon). Unless stated otherwise, the ones toward the end I recorded but don't remember specifically where I got them, maybe from endgame chests.

The final? main story dungeon Regaria Society HQ & Tower has missable enemies, as it becomes safely explorable in post-game.
There's 16 One-of-a-kind items (abbreviated cardinal directions, W = West, SW = Southwest, etc.).
