Okay, for anyone who's following the discussion around Chrome Wolf:
There are three bonus missions you can buy in the Points shop. Each one costs 300 CWP. (I earned enough to unlock the first mission in about 7-8 hours of gameplay, or partway into Mission 7.)
To unlock them, buy the Ancient Key, the Master ID, and the Classified Document.
I chose the Master ID first, because the main item in that dungeon is a CP gain accessory. (Specifically, it's a Red Beret.) I've done maybe 2/3 of the Chimera Lab, and I've found two Red Berets. Each one gives double CP (Class points) for one character, for their class AND their magic type.
Again, I unlocked the Master ID part way into Mission 7 (basically as soon as I had earned 300 CWP - and yes, I did earn them. I never buy IAP when it's this easy to earn it in-game.) I entered the Chimera Lab with everyone around Level 31-32, with the strongest available weapons and armor. Everyone's Class level was either 7 or 8 (I think it was 8.)
I've done maybe 2/3 of the Lab - I have not completed it yet - and already I've gone back to Freedom HQ to change Kruz's Class, I've changed a couple of magic Emblems because I've reached Max Levels, and my characters are now Level 41.
And the best part - from the moment I entered the Lab, I've been able to Auto almost every battle. Sometimes there are just too many enemies and I don't want to take the risk, but for the most part I just put it on Auto and don't even pay attention to the fighting. Finding your way through the Lab, and opening the right doors in the right order, is a bit of a challenge, but the random encounters are not bad.
One thing - the enemies will use Seal (Silence) A LOT. Since I'm either fighting on Auto or using Attack, I just ignore the fact that no one can use skills until I have to use some Healing, and then I just un-Seal the one I need to Cure everyone else.

I only played an hour or so of Grace of Letoile so I wouldn't know.
This game though reminds me of Grinsia, Shelterra the Skyworld, or Soul Historica - except I think it's way better than those three. Soul Historica was pretty good, IMO, Shelterra was a lot of fun, and Grinsia seemed like it was too long and drawn out, so I never finished it.
But Chrome Wolf is pretty fun and has a really, really good story. Anyway that's my two cents.

All your base are
Shelterra was good, could have been better. For Some reason I couldnt bring myself to play Soul Historica after buying it. Grinsia was actually decent.Grace of Letoile was average has an updated battle system which was tooooo slow.
The one that looks actually similar to Chrome Wolf is Ancient Phantasma( Out in Japan).

I wanted to add the following information about the Chimera Lab Boss:
BEWARE THE ATTACK WHICH INFLICTS INSTA-DEATH!
The boss of all three areas are pretty tough, but instant death... I'll just...
The boss can take your whole party down using insta-death in one. single. attack.
So if you're planning in attacking it, I hope you have something which prevents insta-death.
Be it an item, a charm, or the "Trooper" passive skill.
The crystals which accompains the boss, well... They're weak. use snipe skills and they'll be offline in no time.
Snipe is a skill of both Recon and Support class. They can be learned pretty soon after switching class.
As you have a Teleportal and red beret, change everyone's class to one of two above until they learn how to snipe.
The big boss, however, is tough. Haves high HP and an attack which inflicts insta-death on the whole party.
Trooper passive skill only works ONCE, so you'll want a high damage output.
Kruz probably already mastered Trooper class, so you can give him the class with highest attack you have. Passive skills of mastered class are kept AFAIK. If he becomes too low, there's a Speed Charm on the East wing. Give it to him.
=============================
About the Lab in overall, I explored the whole west wing, then the east wing, went north, pressed the two red buttons on the entrance, explored west and east wings gain, then I returned north, pressed the two (now blue) buttons on entrance and further in there was a red button. I pressed it, explored east wing again, of course pressing any triggers on the wings and grabbing all treasure, and then returned. Just followed north and the path to Innermost area was open.
Not the most efficient way, you probably could explore west first and then change the central (north) button before exploring east (remembering to undo before changing the entrance buttons to explore wings again) but this is not only hard to understand as I've never tested myself and cannot warrant it'll work.
