What role and elements do you give to Rick?

I've just started on the game and only has Yamato, Rick and Tsubasa at Lv 14.

I observed that Rick has very high defence and takes the lowest damage (tank), so I'm thinking of giving it the tank, support and healer role. However it also has the lowest Int stat among the 3, so I'm somewhat hesitant about its healer role because it won't be giving optimal healing.

Does anyone use it as a different role in the party? What elements, skills and magic do you give it?

I used Rick as tank/attacker, and I used Tsubasa for support and healing.

But I also played Premium and unlocked all 3 Cauldrons, and kept raising Rick's weapon each time. (Which I actually don't recommend now, because I feel like it made the battles TOO ridiculously easy. I almost feel like I was cheating the whole time...)

Anyway my recommendation is to use Rick as a physical attacker, but I'd also be interested in what others have to say.

Let's say you don't use the cauldrons or any of the fruits to enhance stats. The primary way to raise attack is via the weapon transmigration. Eventually everybody gets the same weapons, so in theory you can raise everybody to similar stats. I'd say you should point toward 3 attackers and 2 healers, but they can be any of the characters. The crystals you equip on the weapons contribute to offense/defense, etc., so you can build any character to an attacker and any to a healer--it really doesn't matter. Given finite resources (that is, how much time you wish to spend in the game), you just decide based on personal preference. If you want to farm items, you can push everybody to insane levels and assign them any role you like. One character can have the Black Bkn Crl you get early in the game, and that character will be your initial tank (but later you can change this if you like).

3beez, I don't remember. I THOUGHT I got it from a chest, because I sure don't remember trying the Tower of Crystals, but if Searinox says it is only available from the Tower of Crystals, I'd trust his opinion.

Agree on  Searinox. But I seem to be missing five treasures (not the Noble weapons) and I thought it was one of those. Oh well, thanks for info!
