You can style the table right in the page. You just have to click on the icon with the arrows, and then you can edit the source code. (Don't worry, if you 'break' the code, it only affects the body of that one page. I know, I've done it before)

Or just give me a bit and I'll work up a basic CSS class for tables (or if you can figure out how to post the CSS as preformatted text, I can add custom CSS to the template for anything you want to stylize...)

Going forward, let's try to put these notes on the "question page," I just created, then I can answer questions right there, and as we progress I can work up some sort of tutorial so that hopefully down the road (like in January/February?), I can open up the walkthroughs for more member contributions.

Okay lets see the questions page. Also I can just use the "Style" for that single Element so I think it will not break the page( Hopefully )( I have done quite a bit of HTML and CSS3 so I do know What I will be doing. I think lol ).

Also when will the site be down?

The questions page is up but there's nothing there at the moment. It's just a space for you and seuman to edit and post any questions or problems you encounter.

If you want to style the table on the page, that would be best. I suspect that if you copy and paste from Word or Excel, you lose all your formatting.

Also if you want me to add any custom CSS for Asdivine Dios (for tables, lists, anything of that sort), I can do that. That way you just have to add the element. Just let me know.

The more that you can do on your own, the better, because that gives you more options in formatting everything the way you want it. (Although if it's just really awful, I'll probably redo it.)

I do have a few "standards" for posting images and such, so if need be I will reformat thumbnails and image links.

But overall, my biggest concern is that everything fits well within the page. (As you can see, the current table extends beyond the right side, into the navigation menus. Because I added a lengthy note, it doesn't appear as bad at the moment, but when first published the information on the right side of the table was hidden from view by the nav menu.)

I plan on moving to a new host on Monday, probably around 10 a.m. or so Pacific Standard Time. I have no idea how long it will take before the site will be back up. Later today I'll put up a big red notice on every page, so no one will be caught unaware. :woohoo:

Okay so that's what It is for.

I know I won't use word or excel. One I did try doing it. It ended up in a disaster.

Okay, that would make things a littler easier. But before that the list completetion comes first.

Don't Worry I am not that bad it. Of course if I do think that what I did is bad, I won't publish it in the first place( lol ).

Yeah the table actually breaks the body lol. Kinda needs a little fix there.

I see. I should better try to complete this before the maintenance strikes in. Because I feel like Kemco will either give Christmas Gift( like just before the holidays ) or a New years gift. By gift I mean game XD.

I hear you, I'm dying to get Justice Chronicles done, in hopes of a December release for Android.

Don't hurry on my account. Heaven knows it's taken me forever just to get to where I am (and there's still SO MUCH to learn!) :side:

I have to remind myself a couple times a week to slow down and enjoy the process.

Well seeing the Walkthrough section, its almost complete. And you did that alone. How cool is that.

Ah if you say so. Still it would be better If I finish this list and head towards the Sprite Location List. Then Of course the Bonus Boss section, which I will update this week or so.

And lols.

UPDATE So I just found out that the host I want to move to offers a free one-time professional website transfer, which they claim means ZERO downtime. (I guess because the site is temporarily hosted on two separate servers, until they get everything moved over? Not really sure...)

Anyway, I said I'd give at least 24 hour notice, so here it is:

I'm going to make the move tomorrow, Thursday December 17, between 4 and 6 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (hopefully closer to 4).

If what they've told me is correct, no one will experience any downtime. However, I would encourage NOT to post anything after 2 p.m. tomorrow, until I post the "All Clear" message.

I hope this doesn't inconvenience anyone, but honestly it's better for me to get this done quickly, because there's a lot of new features I want to explore for the site once I get it moved over.

@Azyleo:

I just want to let you know I'm starting to think about standard table formats for things like Monster lists, Item lists, etc. I think if these kind of tables were basically the same for every walkthrough, it would make the site more user-friendly.

Some small changes would be needed for some games, because not all games have the option to steal from enemies, and they don't all have the exact same "system" for learning skills, magic, etc. But I do want to have like all the games that use skill system like Asdivine Hearts to have the same table format, and all the games that have monster drops and steals to have the same table format, etc.

(I'll probably even go so far as to have all Enemy drops for every game show up in the same color, to make things like that easier for people to find.)

If you've a got a table styled and ready to go, you should publish it after the maintenance is done. I don't want to discourage you, but you should expect there to be some tweaking required, as I try to narrow in on site-specific formatting.

Also, I plan on adding some specific table styles over the next few days, as well as a link for you to a "Sample Tables" page. And since the format is NOT set in stone at this moment, maybe we can work together to get something that we'll both be happy with.

And one final thing - I just remembered that we have a forum category called "Non-Game Related." :woohoo: (Where did that come from? Lols) I think if we need to communicate about site design issues, we should start new topics there. I'm leaving this topic where it is since it actually deals more with the lists, and everything else just kind of wound up here by accident.

But I am thinking long-term about opening up the walkthroughs for all interested members to create and edit their own pages, and some of them may be interested in following the discussion, so I think using the forum is best.
